a few weeks ago I walked nearly 100 blocks to central park for the hell of it… and of course I brought my camera -I just happened to find a group of roller skaters who are apparently skating there every weekend. Click here to watch
those people had mad roller skating skills….did you do the bouncing zooms during filming or during editing?

the only think I must say is that I found it too long, maybe shorter could be more effective
i like the soundtrack. reminds me of the film SNATCH. May be the same song. Great stuff, what are you filming with? Beautifully shot.
ok, finally i got it all and saw it. you have a good feeling for editing, i like the way you did the montage. in the middle of it I even thought of understanding kind of a story - the white girl in between those two black dancers, going forward and back. rock on - you do good.
Great job Brian. Nice FCP skills. Now you’ve got to be on the look out for people who are “hooping”. I heard about it on the radio yesterday. I want to see that.

boy this brought back memories to me. i lived in nyc for twenty and always loved to watch people rollerdance.
there were actually clubs for it. well in one of their reincarnations ie. the roxy.
so glad to see roller blading has not taken over central park.
sigh memories of an old fart.
