I’m leaving back to New York tomorrow after a summer at home where I’m not comfotable in my skin and it’s just easier to lie… and I’ve been watching a lot of Kenneth Anger.
I have been watching your videos for a long time and have thoroughly enjoyed them…I noticed that you stopped posting as frequently as you used to when you were here in NYC. I know there has got to be things in SA that you can make videos of…I am going to SA in a couple days (I am from there and now live in NYC) and hope to get some footage/inspiration while I am there. Lets see some of SA like you did when you were here in NYC. You can find inspiration anywhere. Anyway, this is another great video….keep it up and make them more frequent! You are an inspiration to us beginning vloggers!

C. Scott,
thanks for being an avid viewer -I’m back in NYC now, so you can be expeccting things to come. the thing about SA is that it’s the one time out of the year where I’m the only one breathing down my neck to get something done, without the professional turbulence of NYC. It’s a time to grow at home, so I spent a lot of time building an installation piece (”built ford tough”) because I had never done it. I read and re-read literature that needed a lot of catching up on (Miranda July’s book), and of course watching anything I can (K.Anger). You’re right, inspiration can be found anywhere, but sometimes I need to take while to stop trying to change the world, and let the world change me.
