This is the only way I could think of to get in touch with you. I’ve already reported it to Google so they will probably disable the account and get in touch with you, but you can read about the scam (the letter I received was almost word-for-word the same as the one in this link) at this link:

Same here. I assume you are not in Africa. I told the spammer to contact the US embassy, which would send you home were you truly in such a situation.
