This floored me *and I do this for a living*. I just came off a three-shift run...one of the worst ever. It's SO nice to be able to step back from the jobby aspect and remember how joyful, important, unifying and powerful birth can be for a family. I hate to admit it: but for me, sometimes childbirth is just reduced to an unbelievable stack of paperwork. This was gorgeous. Your nephew's reactions are completely priceless, especially when he expresses concern for his Momma. I'm all teary just thinking about it. I'm going to go watch this again. And again. And I'm going to forget about the trying week I had, and instead I'm going to think about the magic. Oh, God. This floored me *and I do this for a living*.
