I love this, seriously. There’s a story we tell in my family about being put on the spot, asked to “dance for Grandma.” Whenever we want to evoke that kind of thing, being put on the spot emotionally or asked to perform when it’s unwanted or invasive, we can invoke that phrase. “I don’t want to dance for Grandma right now.” I think I’ll change it. “I only dance for me.”
