I met Glen Hansard on the street a few months ago as he was looking for the Angelika theater and I was overcome with his sincerity and his surprise that I recognized him. Now he’s an oscar winner and everyone will recognize him and Marketa for making a fabulous film for only a few thousand dollars on handicams and (19yr old) Marketa’s proclamation to create shall always resonate.
