the day I got back from shooting a feature in Connecticut for a month, NY treated me with a free Battles show at central park’s summer stage. I love this city.

for my Masters of Light final, I made a video on a personal hero of mine -Richard Sylvarnes, talking about his experimental feature film, H.C.E. that notoriously challenged audiences at the Tribeca Film Festival not too long ago.

so while in Texas, I got a tattoo. It’s from an illustration by Alred Kubin called “Every Night A Dream Visits Us” made in 1900, the year before Freud published Interpretation of Dreams, which ignited the notion that dreams came from an internal force as opposed to Kubin who believed they came from an external force.

…and evidently I act really stupid under a needle…
